Head Football Coach Jabara Williams

Congratulations to Coach Jabara Williams — Our New Head Football Coach!

Crosby ISD is proud to announce Coach Jabara Williams as the new Head Football Coach of Crosby High School!

Coach Williams brings three years of proven leadership to our program, along with an impressive football career spanning both college and the NFL. A former NFL linebacker, he was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in 2011 following a standout career at Stephen F. Austin, where he earned All-American honors, led the Southland Conference in tackles, and was a key member of the SFA teams that captured back-to-back conference championships in 2009 and 2010. Coach Williams played for the Rams before being traded to the Chicago Bears and later the Dallas Cowboys, prior to transitioning into coaching.

Since joining the Cougars, Coach Williams has steadily built one of the strongest defensive units in the region. Over the last three seasons, the defense has shown measurable growth across every key area.

This steady upward trajectory demonstrates Coach Williams’ ability to develop talent, instill accountability, and create a culture of excellence. Beyond the numbers, he has cultivated a defensive unit that competes with heart, represents Crosby with pride, and continues to grow both on and off the field.

We are thrilled to have Coach Williams step into this new role and lead Cougar Football into its next chapter.

Please join us in congratulating Coach Jabara Williams! Go Cougars!
