Ms. Robin Creed

I am excited to be the 8th grade counselor at CMS this year!

This is my 34th year working in the district. I currently hold a BA in General Education and M.Ed. in School Counseling, both from Lamar University. My academic experience includes 19 years teaching CTE classes at CHS and 4 years at CMS before becoming a school counselor. I hold Master Technology Teacher and vocational teaching certificates in addition to school counseling. 

This year will be challenging but we can rise to that challenge together because we are Cougars and that’s what we do!

Mrs. Shannon Summerlin

Welcome back CMS Cougars!  I am so excited to be one of your Counselors this school year!  I am looking forward to seeing each of you grow into lifelong learners and I will be your biggest supporter in all you do!  

I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.  It is my goal as a CMS counselor to help all students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.  As a counselor I hope to help CMS students develop a deep love and respect for themselves, others and their environment, through an open sharing of ideas.  

A little about me, 

I grew up in the Pasadena School District.  I graduated in 2001 from UHCL with my Bachelors Degree in Education.  While attending UHCL I worked in PISD as a substitute teacher.  In 2001, I began teaching in PISD.  I spent three years working with both 4th and 1st graders.  In 2004, I helped open Morris 5th Grade Center.  Over the last eighteen years, I have helped transition Morris to a 21st century Middle School. I graduated in December 2013 with my Masters in Counseling from UHCL. I have been married for 23 years to my wonderful husband, Jimmy, I have 1 daughter: Ashlynn and I have two amazing Grandchildren: Clayson and Kaelynn.  

I can't wait to meet each of you!

Mrs. Nataly Mahosky

Hello CMS Cougars! My name is Nataly Mahosky, I am so excited to join your campus as one of your new school counselors. With 18 years of experience in education, I have taught kindergarten through 2nd grade and served as a school counselor across all grade levels, K–12. I am extremely passionate about supporting students' academic, emotional, and social growth. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband of nine years and our three beautiful children. I am looking forward to a great school year and getting to know you all!!
